Well, it was a bit clumsy and took a while to get used to, but Stableside Stories now has a full visual catalog of all the main characters, and its introductory log completed.

Here are the characters that we will be following throughout Stableside Stories!

(Knightingale and Sunshine are not introduced in this log, but will be introduced later, when not so much stuff is going on.)

Sweet Valentine is a well-spoken, caring, and rather effeminate stallion. Rather oblivious of the bad around him, he always sees the best in ponies, and tries to keep a happy outlook on life. He’s lived in Stableside for most of his life, and is good friends with Aurora. He recently had a bad falling out with his old roommate, and is now seeking a new one.

Cassandra Ironlight is a loud, boisterous gryphon explorer with a love for adventure and rough-housing. She has just left Ponyville with hopes of finding new things in Stableside to intrigue her.

Forever is a lean, wily pegasus with a big ego and bigger mouth. He actively seeks thrills, and is constantly finding trouble, instead. He and Lemontwist have been through many adventures together, and are now moving to Stableside without much planning. He hopes Stableside will be more exciting than Ponyville ever was.

Lemontwist is a silly little unicorn with a painfully jolly attitude. Always grinning, her mood is rather infectious to others. She has a tendency to be unearthly stubborn, and make snap decisions, which often lead her to end up in trouble. Never really having found herself, she abandoned Ponyville with Forever in hopes of self-discovery through a change of scenery.

Aurora is a fun-loving and friendly mare. She loves studying lights and astronomy, and runs a light shop in Stableside, where she practices her special talent of manipulating light, usually in the form of colorful shows for the enjoyment of others.

Sunshine is an extremely reserved and loyal stallion. He tends to keep to himself, and rarely speaks unless spoken to, but will go out of his way to comfort others in need. He is rather nervous and anxious, and tries very hard to please those around him.

Knightingale is a hopeless romantic, and spends most of his time writing poetry. He is often found at the Stableside Cafe, reciting his works publicly, which is one of the rare times you will find him speaking openly. He is warm and outgoing with his friends, and rather silly once he’s loosened up a bit.

Let me tell you about my Pony Adventure character. Hes from my favorite animes. He has a black trenchcoat and a gun, but he only shoots the gun to hurt things, because he doesnt believe in killing. His name is Sephitrot Goglue. Sephitrot Goglue the Stampede. And he used to be an angel, but then he was a devil, and then when he was an angel and he was a devil he gave it up to be a pony because he fell in love with a mare who was really simple but she loved him with all of her heart. Also Sephitrot is a vampire and he bit the mare and drank all her blood but then she died and he was really sad about it so he perches on rooftops when its raining out and looks down at the ground like a gargoyle but but hes not a gargoyle because hes a vampire alicorn angel demon. And then because after he got bit by the vampire and caused him to kill his marefriend he got a big robot that he found under a rock and the big robot said “I am a big robot and I believe in the power of you!” and then the big robot said they would be friends and then the big robot said “Lets go get the vampire” And the vampire was an evil unicorn but he was also the head of this company. It was like a buff unicorn vampire. And so hes the head of this company, and he has a board of directors and they are all also vampires, and when he shows up in his robot, they all also have robots that were made out of different companies except their robots were made out of the cloned dead mounds of the vampires from the past because they have a time machine inside their robots, so he goes back in time to when hes an angel devil and meets himself and they team up because they are best friends because they are each other and he sees his girlfriend and he gets all bent out of shape because hes like “oh no i still love you but you are destined to die so i gotta fight the evil vampire corporation.” and the robots fight and theres some explosions because theyre in the city, but the city goes underground because it needs to not get exploded, and so the city is underground and while theyre fighting, hes like ” no, you dont understand! I am back in time!” and then they go “how can this be!” and their robots blow up because his robots better. and then hes like “I have defeated you!” and then the head CEO vampire demon buff unicorn shows up and is like “No!” and then surprises them and then stabs the big robot and it stabs through the cockpit into his heart, but he doesnt have a heart because hes a vampire alicorn angel demon from the past future. And then the vampire unicorn says “Im going to defeat you right now!” and then he says “Aha I have a trick up my sleeve!” and then the big robot changes into a slightly different robot. and then while hes transforming the evil vampire CEO unicorn is like “How could this be!” and then theres a big laser that shoots out of his chest because he believes in himself. And the laser hits the vampire unicorn and its like the sun but a hundred times worse and it blasts him back in time through the forward time and it hits his marefriend and it pushes her forward and then he goes forward into the future and his marefriends there and hes like “Im not a vampire because i erased him from the timeline. now we can be together” and then they go on a picnic

We need more male applicants! We’ve only had a few so far, and we need some more so that we may compare and select from them.

Earth ponies are encouraged as well. Our composition at the moment is 2 unicorns, a Gryphon, and a pegasus.

We need diversity!

Okay! After a lot of talking about it and gauging general interest, I’ve actually taken the first step to getting this started!

I know a few of you have messaged me with interest or character summaries, but we’re gonna do this better and more… better

Ideally, this whole RP thing will:

• Have realtime RP logs occurring over Steam, in a group chat setting, with saved logs, that will be published.
• Have replies to asks from individual characters, so we can involve followers (Though no direct interaction will occur with the rest of the tumblrpon universe, meaning “Hey, ___, I wanna fuck you, tee hee” will be ignored. Questions regarding a character’s thoughts on things, emotional state, and stuff like that are the questions that will be answered.)
• Have drawn content on occasion, either to accompany a log or just to stand alone, but probably not to answer asks.
• Will be composed mostly of written content.
• Have “believable” OC characters. (No main characters that could not occur inside the MLP universe, though I will allow minor bending of this rule, I will not allow alicorns, crazy hybrid species, overpowered characters, and stuff like that)
• Perhaps have main characters that are not ONLY ponies. Maybe there will be dragons?
• Be composed of a small-er group of people, perhaps a 5 character maximum for now.
• Potentially contain shipping among characters, as their relationships grow.
• Potentially be NSFW at times, but be mostly story driven. And by mostly I mean almost all of it.

Just copy this stuff and submit your completed version to me on this blog. (Which will change names once the accepted members talk about it and figure out a setting in which to place this RP)

7. Attach a reference for your character. It can be hand drawn, or ponycreator. Doesn’t have to be fancy!
8. Anything else you’d like to tell us?

If you’re accepted, I will contact you and add you to a group chat with the rest of the members.

If you are not accepted, you should NOT take that as a reason to freak out and send everyone a bunch of hate. I’m looking for rational and level-headed people, so that’s just going to give me a bad impression. We will most likely pull on a few people as we grow more stable and confident. Keep your head up.
